I came across this divine little shop while staying in Mykonos this summer. Ergon Mykonos offers an elegant and contemporary selection of home accessories, fashion, and art as any concept store should. The selection takes its inspiration from the tales of Greek mythology combined with contemporary aesthetics. Founded 5 years ago by Marietta Karpathiou, Ergon Mykonos showcases a refined selection which spans from kaftans, espadrilles, pillows and beach towels to sculptures and jewelry. Each item is original and successfully blends Greek heritage and pop style. Don’t miss dropping by this little gem of a shop. It is a feast for the eyes.

Founder Greg Chait—recognizable by his full beard and regular rotating stylish eyewear—calls himself an “accidental” designer with roots in the music and entertainment business. Gehry created mastlike wood structures that hold up aluminum “sails” that twist and swirl around pieces from the fall/winter ready-to-wear collection. The curved silver, graphite, Champagne, and pink sculptures, which Gehry calls “Wind Wings,” were inspired by glass sails that make up the shell of the Fondation. Louis Vuitton Maison on Fifth Avenue also features exclusive sails with an anodized black finish. The gleaming ebony waves complement Ghesquière’s modern collection of structured A-line silhouettes, many fashioned from slick leather.
The windows will be up through October at all New York locations and in select stores around the world. Visitors will also be able to scan the displays using the Louis Vuitton Pass app on their mobile phones to access exclusive content. Window shopping never looked so good. SOURCE . AD

New concept store in Aoyama district of Tokyo is located in an abandoned pool in a private 70s residential building called the POOL. Hiroshi Fujiwara was appointed to direct the project, thus ensuring plenty of coverage and hype before it opened its doors last Saturday. Inside, customers can find the POOL Aoyama original products, such as bags, apparel, accessories, and even toilet paper.
